Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software, platform, or cloud engineering, including direct responsibility for team leadership and delivery outcomes.
- Strong hands-on experience building and operating distributed systems in AWS and/or GCP.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native engineering practices.
- Proven ability to lead engineers through execution, improve engineering processes, and deliver reliable systems in production.
- Strong technical grounding in modern backend engineering, observability, and operational excellence.
- Experience in fraud prevention, authentication, voice biometrics, trust and safety, or related security products is a plus.
- Prior hands-on experience as a software, infrastructure, or platform engineer.
- Experience working in high-growth SaaS environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, execution, and day-to-day engineering operations for a key Protect domain, with a focus on reliability, delivery quality, and technical health.
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, building a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and strong technical execution.
- Maintain technical credibility by engaging in architecture, technical design, and operational problem-solving.
- Partner with Product, Research, SRE, and engineering teams to prioritize work, remove bottlenecks, and deliver scalable solutions in a multi-cloud environment.
- Strengthen engineering fundamentals including observability, incident response, quality practices, and CI/CD.
- Utilize data and metrics to identify systemic issues and improve team execution effectiveness.
