Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum one year of proposal writing, grant writing, or government RFP response experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with document formatting and production.
- Excellent grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information from multiple contributors into a coherent, readable narrative.
- Availability to work PT (Pacific time) 8am-5pm with some flexibility.
- Dedicated, distraction-free workspace and reliable internet connection.
- Must reside in CA, FL, OK, MT, SC, WA, or WY.
Responsibilities
- Own assigned RFPs from receipt through final submission, managing all aspects of the process.
- Draft executive summaries, technical narratives, staffing plans, organizational overviews, and value proposition sections.
- Develop and maintain compliance matrices for each assigned proposal, ensuring all requirements are addressed.
- Coordinate with clinical leadership, operations, and HR to gather accurate and timely content.
- Collaborate with the creative contractor on proposal formatting, graphics, and document design.
- Manage proposal timelines including internal milestones, review checkpoints, and final submission deadlines.
- Conduct thorough final reviews for compliance, consistency, grammar, and alignment with company standards.
- Contribute to and maintain the proposal content library, including reusable boilerplate and past performance narratives.
