Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, agency communications, or a similar environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills with advanced knowledge of AP Style.
  • Experience developing internal communications content for digital platforms, intranets, newsletters, and employee engagement channels.
  • Proven experience supporting organizational change management communications and applying change communication best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, shifting deadlines, and complex projects independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving and project management abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint and experience creating professional presentations.
  • Basic creative design skills with the ability to develop visual communication materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute internal communications strategies across channels such as email, intranet, newsletters, digital signage, and company-wide meetings.
  • Create, edit, and proofread engaging content while maintaining strong AP Style standards and a consistent organizational voice.
  • Partner with internal teams, business leaders, and subject matter experts to plan and refine messaging aligned with business objectives and values.
  • Translate complex technical, operational, or business information into clear, accessible, and engaging employee communications.
  • Support organizational change management initiatives by developing communication plans, messaging frameworks, and employee engagement materials.
  • Create visual assets, graphics, and supporting materials to enhance internal communication campaigns.
  • Manage digital assets, images, and communication resources while maintaining an organized content library.
  • Stay informed on emerging internal communications tools, trends, and best practices to recommend improvements.
  • Support leadership communications, employee engagement initiatives, and broader corporate communication projects.
  • Manage multiple communication projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
