Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in ICT, structured cabling, or network infrastructure design.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Active RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Working knowledge of structured cabling systems (fiber and copper) and telecommunications spaces.
- Familiarity with BICSI, TIA/EIA standards (including TIA-568).
- Experience with or exposure to data center environments.
- Ability to produce clear, accurate, and coordinated design documentation.
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design ICT and network infrastructure systems, including fiber and copper structured cabling and telecommunications pathways.
- Develop LAN/WAN topology, physical infrastructure designs, and construction deliverables such as equipment schedules and rack elevations.
- Design passive infrastructure including fiber backbone systems, ODF configurations, and Service Entrance Facility (SEF) systems.
- Contribute to data center infrastructure design, including MDA/HDA/EDA environments and aisle containment strategies.
- Prepare design drawings and BIM-coordinated ICT models using Autodesk Revit.
- Produce specifications, bills of materials, and commissioning documentation while maintaining version control.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve design challenges and provide support during construction and commissioning.
