Requirements
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a high-growth technology, SaaS company, or international accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, corporate compliance requirements, and financial reporting practices.
- Hands-on experience managing accounting operations, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or Enterprise accounting platforms.
- Experience working with finance and business systems such as Salesforce, Bill.com, Navan, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
- Experience managing outsourced accounting services and collaborating with external CPAs, auditors, and advisors.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across international teams and stakeholders.
- Experience using AI and automation tools to improve finance processes and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete month-end close and consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements compliant with US GAAP.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy by reviewing accounting activities, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
- Manage outsourced bookkeeping operations and ensure high-quality financial data management across accounting workflows.
- Partner with revenue and business operations teams to support customer invoicing, revenue recognition processes, contract documentation, and cash collection activities.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and accounting partners to support federal, state, and corporate compliance requirements.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation, schedules, reconciliations, and financial workpapers to support external reviews.
- Manage accounting requirements related to corporate insurance policies, including documentation and annual audit preparation.
- Improve finance processes through automation, AI-enabled tools, and scalable workflow improvements.
- Collaborate effectively across time zones with global teams to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of financial matters.
