Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of industry experience and professional expertise.
  • Proven success in business development, strategic sales, or commercial leadership within utilities, EPC, industrial infrastructure, energy, or related sectors.
  • Well-established professional network across utilities, engineering firms, EPC contractors, industrial owners, developers, and critical infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of utility, industrial, and infrastructure markets, including complex project lifecycles and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close complex commercial opportunities through consultative relationship-building.
  • Experience expanding strategic accounts and generating new business within industrial or commercial environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with experience managing pipelines, forecasts, and CRM platforms.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented professional capable of working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40–60% throughout North America.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives targeting utilities, EPC firms, and critical infrastructure organizations across North America.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities while strengthening long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Expand market presence by engaging key stakeholders across utility companies, engineering firms, industrial owners, developers, contractors, and infrastructure organizations.
  • Build trusted relationships with engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and executive leadership teams to support complex industrial projects.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitive developments, and emerging opportunities to guide commercial growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to deliver customized solutions that address customer challenges and project requirements.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings to strengthen brand visibility and business relationships.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, sales forecasting, and customer activity records using CRM systems.
  • Achieve revenue growth objectives through strategic account development, consultative selling, and successful acquisition of new customers.
