Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Finance Operations, Accounts Payable, or Procure-to-Pay.
- 1–2 years of people leadership experience managing direct reports.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable operations, internal controls, and procurement best practices.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems.
- Proven track record of improving processes, driving automation, and implementing scalable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and build high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in English, as it is the primary business language.
- Experience supporting multi-jurisdiction sales tax (GST/HST, US Sales Tax, VAT) is an asset.
- Experience leading distributed or global teams is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Lead global Procure-to-Pay (P2P) function for operations across North America and Europe.
- Manage end-to-end P2P lifecycle including vendor onboarding, purchasing, invoice processing, and payments.
- Oversee month-end Accounts Payable activities, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Simplify and optimize finance processes through automation, system enhancements, and scalable workflows.
- Act as Finance Operations subject matter expert for NetSuite P2P workflows.
- Develop internal controls, policies, and documentation for a global business.
- Partner with cross-functional teams in Finance, Procurement, and Tax to improve purchasing and payment experiences.
- Lead, coach, and develop a global team of Finance Operations professionals.
