Requirements
- Charted Accountancy Qualification (or similar) is essential.
- 6-9 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
- Experience supporting multiple entities, regions, or international business units.
- Strong financial reporting and analysis skills.
- Solid understanding of month-end close, balance sheet management, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Experience supporting finance and accounting operations within European entities.
- Knowledge of European statutory reporting, VAT, tax, or local compliance requirements.
- Experience working in a global or US-headquartered organization.
- Proficiency using ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Fluency in English (additional European language preferred).
- Ability to travel regularly across European locations and occasionally to corporate offices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial results for European entities.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and key variances.
- Act as the main finance point of contact for European entities and build relationships with local leaders.
- Oversee European audit and tax relationships and support local statutory reporting.
- Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and assist with internal controls.
