Requirements
- 7+ years of related work experience in commercial or retail design in a brand or practice environment.
- Fluent in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience using Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present to leadership.
- Ethically minded with a passion for sustainable processes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to lead with courage, honesty, and kindness.
Responsibilities
- Develop full design packages for new stores, relocations, and expansions including schematic drawings, plans, elevations, and millwork.
- Collaborate with and direct external consultants on design intent, deadlines, and permit management.
- Perform plan checks and redlines to ensure design accuracy.
- Produce fixture packages for millwork vendors and designs for R&D mockups.
- Support the implementation of visual merchandising strategies to increase sales and maintain brand standards across 260+ shops.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including construction, operations, and IT.
- Provide team mentorship, process development, and oversight of technical standards.
