Job Details

7+ years of experience in GPO business development, institutional sales, strategic sourcing, or supplier contracting.
Direct experience securing approved supplier status with major GPOs or cooperative purchasing organizations.
Established professional relationships with sourcing leaders, category managers, or procurement executives at major GPOs.
Strong understanding of RFI/RFP processes, contract negotiation, rebates, and administrative fee structures.
Experience in commercial foodservice equipment, hospitality, healthcare, or institutional procurement.
Ability to assess revenue potential and strategic fit of GPO opportunities.
Proven track record of independently developing contacts and driving discussions to measurable outcomes.
Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Capability to provide transparent, regular reporting on progress, risks, and next steps.

Evaluate and prioritize opportunities with major GPOs and cooperative purchasing networks.
Identify key procurement decision-makers and secure qualified introductions.
Develop and execute pursuit strategies for target organizations including positioning and pricing.
Support the preparation of RFIs, RFPs, proposals, and contract submissions.
Guide negotiations regarding pricing, rebates, contract terms, and administrative fees.
Identify and address potential operational, technical, or compliance gaps.
Support the transition from contract award to full supplier onboarding and implementation.
Transfer knowledge and processes to the internal team for long-term channel development.
