Job Details

Production support experience with Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Databricks.
Extensive experience providing architectural guidance and operational support for cloud-native data warehouses.
Background in Systems Engineering, DevOps, DBA, or Data Architecture.
Production experience with Cloud and Distributed Data Storage (e.g., S3, ADLS, HDFS, Cassandra, NoSQL).
Production experience with Data integration technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Fivetran, NiFi, AWS DMS, Azure DataFactory).
Production experience with Workflow Management and Orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Luigi).
Strong working knowledge of SQL and ability to write, debug, and optimize queries.
Deep expertise with cloud-native data technologies in AWS or Azure.
Track record of improving processes and procedures.
Expertise in troubleshooting and performance tuning.
Experience in team leadership and mentorship of engineers.
Excellent client-facing written and verbal communication skills.

Propose, design, and provision cloud-native data solutions on AWS/Azure.
Lead a technical team operating and managing modern data platforms including streaming, data lakes, and analytics.
Provide clear ownership of multiple simultaneous customer accounts across a variety of technical stacks.
Build Epics, Stories, and Tasks to improve customer data platforms and delegate tasks to Engineers.
Provide thought leadership by recommending technologies and approaches to ensure performance, security, scalability, and user satisfaction.
Lead discussions and design recommendations for data model design for Data Warehouses and Data Lakes.
Automate, optimize, and expand customer data platforms and service offerings.
