Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional experience in cloud architecture with significant AWS expertise.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification is required.
- Strong experience designing identity and access management solutions using AWS Cognito, IAM, federation protocols, SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2.
- Hands-on expertise with serverless and event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, EventBridge, and related services.
- Experience architecting data platforms using PostgreSQL/Aurora RDS, DynamoDB, caching solutions, and ETL pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud contact center solutions and integration approaches, ideally with Amazon Connect.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, encryption, governance, and auditability.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and CloudFormation for large-scale Infrastructure as Code implementations.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with automated infrastructure deployment and testing processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead secure, highly available, and scalable cloud architectures primarily using AWS services.
- Define cloud strategies and architecture patterns across infrastructure, applications, data platforms, and integrations.
- Architect identity and access management solutions, including federated authentication, IAM, and customer identity management.
- Drive best practices for event-driven and serverless architectures using services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and SQS.
- Establish cloud security practices covering encryption, audit logging, data governance, and compliance frameworks.
- Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Create comprehensive architecture documentation, including technical decisions and trade-offs.
