Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard design, data modeling, DAX, and report optimization.
- Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines in enterprise environments.
- Expert-level SQL skills with deep knowledge of relational and cloud databases.
- Experience with modern data platforms and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, data governance, metadata management, and dimensional modeling.
- Expertise in pipeline orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, alerting, error handling, and retry logic.
- Proficiency in data transformation techniques, data validation, testing strategies, and data quality assurance.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with architects, database engineers, QA teams, and business analysts.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-level data solutions that support diverse reporting and analytics requirements across multiple business units.
- Develop and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that extract data from disparate sources, perform complex transformations, and load data into target systems.
- Build and maintain data models and dimensional schemas optimized for reporting and analytical queries.
- Create advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that deliver insights to executive leadership and operational teams.
- Establish and enforce data quality standards, validation rules, and data governance practices across all data pipelines.
- Configure scheduling, monitoring, alerting, and error handling mechanisms to ensure pipeline reliability and timely data availability.
- Perform analysis and optimization of ETL processes, database queries, and Power BI models to ensure cost-effectiveness and speed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document technical specifications, and provide technical guidance on data architecture decisions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, implementing sustainable solutions and documenting lessons learned.
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and best practices, recommending improvements to the data platform.
