Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field (Advanced degree such as MBA, MPH, MHA strongly preferred).
- 8-10+ years of progressive experience in healthcare partnerships, sales, or business development.
- Strong focus on strategic health system or IDN (Integrated Delivery Network) accounts.
- Demonstrated success building and managing high-value partnerships in the healthcare or biotech industry.
- Proven experience negotiating and managing complex health system contracts.
- Experience leading Business and Utilization Reviews for executive audiences.
- Track record of identifying and executing expansion opportunities within large health systems.
- Expertise in managing complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision processes inside hospitals.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and data-driven account planning.
- Deep knowledge of biotech or medical diagnostics, hospital operations, and value analysis pathways.
- Ability to travel up to 60%.
Responsibilities
- Drive measurable growth in test volume and account value across an assigned health system portfolio.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with executive leaders, administrators, and clinical stakeholders.
- Lead Business and Utilization Reviews to demonstrate clinical, operational, and financial ROI.
- Identify and execute expansion opportunities across additional sites, service lines, and affiliated networks.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success.
- Negotiate and manage enterprise-level agreements and contracts.
- Represent Karius at executive meetings, national conferences, and industry forums.
