Requirements
- University degree in accountancy or a similar field.
- Proven experience with full-cycle month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing/invoicing.
- Comfortable with direct client communication regarding billing.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work core US Eastern hours.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances for management.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing/invoicing processes.
- Oversee payroll management and regulatory compliance.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems and software.
