Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
- Current licensure with the State Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence.
- 3-6 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Thorough knowledge of inpatient environments and clinical operations.
- Ability to work at a high technical level on application analysis, workflow, build, design, and testing.
- Experience communicating with physicians, nurses, and professional staff regarding clinical and drug-related matters.
- Successful completion of required Epic certification(s) within 60 days of final training.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain EHR systems and databases to ensure optimum performance.
- Manage analysis, design, deployment, and support of assigned Epic applications.
- Collaborate with application teams and customers to implement automated pharmacy technology solutions.
- Perform project management for Pharmacy technology initiatives, ensuring goals and deadlines are met.
- Design and build EHR systems appropriate for user needs and organizational architecture.
- Develop and maintain effective downtime processes.
- Communicate risks, issues, and project status updates to stakeholders.
