Requirements
- 5 to 7+ years of experience working within hospital, health system, or major clinical laboratory information systems (LIS) environments.
- Proven experience participating in at least one Epic full-lifecycle clinical system implementation (system design, validation testing, integrated testing, go-live support).
- Strong foundational understanding of complex laboratory environments, regulatory requirements, operational workflows, or clinical data structures.
- Valid Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP) or Anatomic Pathology (AP) certification.
- Expert-level build and configuration experience in SoftBank LIS environments.
- Enterprise-level Healthcare IT project management experience leading Epic implementations and managing laboratory end-user device rollouts.
- Experience with Sunquest migrations is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to bridge technical and clinical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, validate, and optimize a new laboratory ecosystem using Epic Beaker.
- Replace legacy laboratory systems, specifically Sunquest and SoftBank.
- Execute critical blood bank and transfusion medicine migrations.
- Support analyzer connectivity, middleware, and instrument integration.
- Configure laboratory revenue cycle, charging workflows, and billing mapping.
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders, technical teams, and LIS staff to ensure seamless implementation.
- Manage project timelines, testing activities, and cutover requirements for complex laboratory transformations.
