Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience as an analytics engineer or full stack data analyst.
- Expertise in SQL, with an emphasis on writing performant code.
- Expert-level data modelling experience, ideally using dbt.
- Strong comprehension of data warehouses and the modern data stack.
- Track record of delivering projects and datasets that drive key business outcomes.
- Ability to self-serve by building ELT and reverse ETL pipelines or Airflow DAGs using Python.
- Experience with data governance, data quality testing, and documentation tools.
- Ability to communicate technical subjects clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Evolve foundational data infrastructure to primarily support the finance department.
- Own analytics infrastructure end-to-end, from data ingestion to reporting and activation.
- Promote strong technical standards and level up team members through software engineering best practices.
- Lead data projects from inception to completion, managing scope and ambiguity.
- Liaise between business, engineering, and data teams to translate requirements into capture and schema designs.
- Ingest, clean, and organize raw data to support analysis and decision-making.
- Shape data models to advance analytics strategy and build organizational trust.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement automated processes.
