Requirements
- 7+ years of meaningful engineering management experience building and leading highly effective teams.
- Prior experience as a UI engineer with strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency with JavaScript libraries like React and Redux.
- Prior experience using Figma.
- Familiarity with building and supporting a design system at scale.
- Management experience with Agile and working in Product Teams.
- Comfort engaging hands-on in development or triage and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
- Cybersecurity experience.
- Detail-oriented with a dedication to quality.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of UI engineers.
- Champion the vision and execution of the Dragos Platform User Interface.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads and Product Managers to define and deliver an optimal user experience.
- Foster a technical community by developing relationships amongst Engineering Managers.
- Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization strategies.
- Provide technical input during software design, development, testing, and release.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while balancing technical debt and innovation.
- Ensure support for fielded production deployments.
- Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies to drive improvement.
