Requirements
- 10+ years in wealth management, financial services, management consulting, or a senior relationship management role.
- Meaningful exposure to business owners, firm principals, or founders.
- Demonstrated experience driving commercial outcomes in a client-facing role.
- Strong familiarity with the RIA or independent advisory space preferred.
- Experience navigating organizational change, firm transitions, or post-merger integration.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills to earn trust with experienced financial professionals.
- Operationally disciplined with the ability to manage a portfolio of 8-10 firms.
- High emotional intelligence for navigating interpersonal complexity and managing difficult conversations.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to senior market leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a builder capacity, creating processes and playbooks in an ambiguous environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in pre-LOI diligence to assess cultural fit and organizational readiness.
- Lead business introduction meetings and develop firm-specific success and value creation plans.
- Project manage business-related complexities and integration milestones from LOI to post-close.
- Act as the primary point of contact for acquired firms, orchestrating internal resources and specialist teams.
- Monitor firm health metrics across new and existing clients, financial performance, and integration milestones.
- Identify and mitigate retention risks for advisors and clients through proactive engagement and leadership intervention.
- Coordinate organic growth initiatives, cross-selling opportunities, and market launches as firms mature.
