Requirements
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting certification.
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years focused on revenue accounting.
- Deep expertise in IFRS 15/ASC 606 revenue recognition for complex, consumption-based, and subscription models.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing geographically distributed teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex accounting concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite ARM or an equivalent enterprise revenue system.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills.
- Experience managing external audits as the primary contact.
- Aptitude for finance technology transformation, automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Big Four or mid-tier public accounting background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead a global revenue accounting team through monthly and quarterly close cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS revenue recognition standards.
- Establish and maintain revenue recognition policies for subscription and consumption-based models in partnership with Legal and Sales.
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM), managing data integrity and resolving discrepancies.
- Research complex accounting transactions, producing clear technical memos and policy documentation.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and FP&A to support go-to-market strategies and accounting readiness for new revenue models.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors on all revenue-related matters.
- Identify and lead the implementation of process improvements and automation to scale order-to-cash accounting.
