Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
  • Proven experience managing complex proposals for federal government agencies.
  • Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, including FAR and DFARS regulations.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects, shifting priorities, and strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and proposal automation platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for proposal-related meetings and business activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead proposal development activities, including kickoff meetings, proposal strategies, writing, editing, review cycles, and final submissions.
  • Coordinate with capture managers, technical teams, subject matter experts, pricing teams, partners, and compliance stakeholders to develop persuasive proposal content.
  • Create and manage proposal schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure all proposals meet solicitation requirements, including government regulations, formatting standards, and submission guidelines.
  • Manage proposal review processes, including Pink Team and Red Team evaluations, incorporating feedback and driving continuous improvement.
  • Oversee final proposal production and delivery while tracking timelines, risks, and key milestones.
  • Communicate proposal status, challenges, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Conduct post-submission reviews, lessons learned sessions, and process improvement initiatives.
