Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 8 or newer).
- Proven experience with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Experience with development tools such as Git, Maven or Gradle, and Docker.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, caching strategies, and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within Agile teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices following modern software engineering practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while applying object-oriented principles and design patterns.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, availability, and reliability.
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
- Support and mentor junior engineers by sharing knowledge and promoting software quality standards.
- Develop solutions using technologies such as Java 17/21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, databases, messaging systems, and cloud platforms.
