Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Current PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent recognized project management certification.
  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale IT projects and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience delivering at least two multi-year enterprise IT implementation or digital transformation projects through the complete project lifecycle.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering IT projects within government or public sector environments.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams of 10 or more resources.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise project management, PMO practices, governance frameworks, and executive reporting.
  • Experience managing enterprise integrations involving financial applications, GIS/mapping systems, portals, and legacy platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience with risk management, issue resolution, budget oversight, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple project managers and team leads across large transformation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery activities, including planning, execution, scheduling, budgeting, governance, risk management, issue resolution, and change management.
  • Manage large-scale IT implementation and digital transformation initiatives from initiation through completion.
  • Lead cross-functional teams consisting of business stakeholders, technical resources, external vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Coordinate multiple project streams, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment across concurrent initiatives.
  • Facilitate governance sessions, steering committees, executive reviews, and project status meetings.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, executive reports, risk assessments, and delivery documentation.
  • Manage enterprise integrations involving financial systems, GIS/mapping platforms, portals, and legacy applications.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define priorities, resolve challenges, and ensure successful program outcomes.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, project performance, and delivery expectations.
  • Apply structured project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
