Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in controlling, product costing, financial analysis, general ledger, asset management, or similar finance functions.
- Understanding of cost accounting and managerial accounting principles.
- Knowledge of accounting period-end closing procedures and financial reporting activities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare, interpret, and communicate financial information.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with SAP, particularly FI and CO modules.
- Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI or similar analytics and visualization tools.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience working in a production environment is an advantage.
- SAP HANA knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of German or other European languages is considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Support cost accounting activities by ensuring accurate recording, allocation, and reporting of business expenses.
- Monitor production accounting processes and support accurate inventory valuation activities.
- Contribute to month-end closing processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Support controlling activities by providing financial insights, cost tracking, and operational analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial information to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide recommendations.
- Support improvements in finance processes, reporting structures, and analytical capabilities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to present financial data and discuss business cases.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal financial processes.
- Leverage digital tools and analytics solutions to improve reporting efficiency.
