Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of proven working experience in accounting, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and month-end close.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Advanced technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with client billing, invoice creation, and payment reconciliation processes.
- Experience managing cash, bank account reconciliations, and sales tax filings.
- Ability to prepare audits and regulatory reporting.
- Experience managing stakeholders across an organization.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in NetSuite and Stripe is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the entire client billing and invoicing process to ensure accuracy.
- Perform client revenue validation and manage tracking and reporting of accounts receivable.
- Reconcile client payments against the payment processor, accounting system, and bank.
- Partner with a third-party vendor to manage the full cycle of sales tax processes and filings.
- Assist in the full cycle of financial operations for the month-end close process.
- Prepare complex financial and regulatory reports and support annual audit preparations.
- Design and deliver executive management reporting, metrics, and workforce planning analysis.
- Provide financial analysis for confidential labor relations, including compensation modeling and contract proposal costing.
- Lead high-priority finance initiatives and special projects related to systems integration and process improvement.
