Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of proven working experience in accounting, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, month-end close, and Accounts Receivable Aging.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Advanced technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Proven experience and knowledge with NetSuite and Stripe (preferred).
- Experience in client invoice creation, payment reconciliation, cash management, and sales tax filing.
- Experience in preparing audits and regulatory reporting.
- Experience managing stakeholders across an organization.
- Strong experience managing complex projects or processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive labor relations financial data.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the entire client billing/invoicing process to ensure accuracy.
- Perform the client revenue validation process to ensure invoice accuracy.
- Manage the tracking and reporting of accounts receivable and the related aging report.
- Own and manage the client payments and reconciliation process against payment processors, accounting systems, and bank records.
- Partner with a 3rd party vendor to manage the full cycle of the sales tax process, including calculation, filing, and compliance.
- Assist in the full cycle of financial accounting operations for the month-end close process.
- Design and develop executive management reporting, dashboards, and key metrics.
- Provide financial analysis for labor relations, including compensation modeling and contract proposal costing.
