Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in accounting, finance, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry within finance or accounting functions.
  • Strong understanding of accounting operations, including daily activities, month-end, and year-end processes.
  • Knowledge of IFRS financial reporting, analytics, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with insurance and accounting software platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, NetSuite, SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, business users, and clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients throughout implementation projects by helping configure solutions and ensuring a positive user experience.
  • Analyze client accounting and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and alignment with platform functionality.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements to define effective solution approaches.
  • Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to deliver implementation plans successfully and on schedule.
  • Perform data analysis on client information to support integrations, validations, and system configuration.
  • Provide timely support and solutions to user questions, issues, and operational challenges.
  • Deliver training sessions and end-user support to help clients maximize platform adoption.
  • Participate in user meetings, focus groups, and requirement discussions to improve solutions.
  • Develop implementation approaches, documentation, and processes for new system capabilities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance workflows and customer outcomes.
