Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of combined consumer loan processing and/or funding experience.
- Minimum 6 months of indirect lending experience.
- Working knowledge of consumer lending products, documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Familiarity with NCUA lending regulations and consumer lending guidelines.
- Proficiency in PC operations and Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to utilize a calculator with accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with empathy and courtesy.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize activities, and solve problems.
- High School Diploma.
- Working knowledge of Loans PQ and DNA is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process and fund indirect consumer lending products.
- Review documentation to confirm accuracy of member information and conduct comprehensive income verification.
- Load data into the Loan Origination System and fund loans based on officer instructions.
- Communicate loan stipulations and funding statuses directly with Indirect Auto dealers.
- Accept and respond to incoming calls from vendors, dealerships, and members regarding loan processing and funding.
- Complete telephone interviews and collateral verifications, including verification of physical damage insurance.
- Adhere to auditing procedures to maintain proper checks and balances.
