Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Approximately 4–6 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or validation.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/Agile/Scrum/Kanban frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, big data environments, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with testing tools and ALM platforms such as Jira and Azure DevOps (TFS).
- Experience creating test cases, scripts, and validation documentation.
- Understanding of data quality principles and testing within regulated environments.
- Familiarity with Python, SAS, PySpark, or PL/SQL is preferred.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, clinical, or healthcare regulated environments is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute validation activities to ensure software quality, functionality, and compliance.
- Create and maintain test cases, validation protocols, test scripts, and associated documentation.
- Perform smoke, integration, system, regression, and post-production validation.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data accuracy and support data integrity.
- Develop and utilize test datasets for functional and integration testing.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to identify and resolve software defects.
- Track software versions, defects, and validation efforts to ensure traceability.
- Support testing for data lakes, data warehouses, ETL processes, and cloud-based environments.
