Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of product management experience.
- Hands-on engineering background (shipped production code) OR direct PM ownership of a developer experience/platform/infrastructure product.
- Ability to read code and engage substantively with technical architecture documentation.
- Direct familiarity with developer tooling: CI/CD systems, build pipelines, observability platforms, and local dev environments.
- Fluency in developer productivity metrics (e.g., DORA metrics, cycle time).
- Hands-on experience evaluating and implementing AI and agentic systems in developer workflows.
- Strong ability to manage ambiguity, execute with speed, and make decisions without perfect information.
- Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs clearly in writing to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to learning and applying emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Translate engineering team needs and pain points into a clear, prioritized roadmap.
- Track and report on metrics that reflect developer experience health using data and qualitative insights.
- Partner with engineers, TPMs, and cross-functional stakeholders to scope and deliver platform improvements for CI/CD, build systems, developer environments, and observability.
- Write clear specs and requirements with explicit success criteria and well-defined tradeoffs.
- Evaluate and champion the integration of AI and agentic tooling into developer workflows.
- Communicate platform health, progress, and tradeoffs to engineering leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Maintain tight feedback loops between platform engineers and internal users.
