Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in project controls, cost management, commercial management, or related functions supporting large capital programs.
- Extensive experience managing mission-critical hyperscale data center programs, high-tech construction projects, or similarly complex infrastructure initiatives.
- 10+ years of leadership experience managing internal teams, contractors, external partners, and distributed project organizations.
- Advanced knowledge of project controls disciplines, including earned value management (EVM), cost forecasting, construction change orders, and schedule optimization.
- Strong understanding of construction economics, project financial management, and portfolio governance.
- Expertise with enterprise project management and reporting tools such as Primavera P6, Procore, and Oracle Unifier.
- Proven ability to build governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance metrics for large-scale programs.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex project data into actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a Project Controls Center of Excellence, defining standardized methodologies, tools, processes, and data governance practices.
- Develop and maintain enterprise project controls frameworks covering cost management, estimating, scheduling, risk, and change management.
- Create and validate project and portfolio baselines, cost targets, delivery plans, and performance measurement systems.
- Oversee integrated schedules, resource planning models, and project controls processes from early planning through commissioning and handover.
- Lead forecasting activities, cost modeling, budget analysis, and variance reporting to identify risks and opportunities.
- Review and approve lifecycle project estimates, cost targets, compensation models, and complex construction claims.
- Improve portfolio data integrity by connecting field progress, financial systems, and executive reporting.
- Conduct schedule quality reviews, including critical path analysis, recovery planning, and schedule optimization.
- Manage enterprise risk processes, including RAID tracking, mitigation planning, and escalation frameworks.
- Lead and mentor distributed teams of project controls professionals, cost managers, and schedulers.
