Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a payroll specialist or administrator.
- Demonstrated experience with international payroll or payroll across multiple organizations/entities.
- Hands-on experience working in HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones.
- Experience calculating and processing variable compensation such as bonuses and commissions.
- Familiarity with statutory payroll mechanics (e.g., garnishments, UK PAYE, Netherlands Zvw, Singapore CPF, Malaysia SOCSO/EPF).
- Understanding of FLSA classifications and general LATAM social security requirements.
- Knowledge of GDPR, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA preferred.
- Proficiency in Rippling, MTH Numbers, or Vistra is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own and process global payroll across all entities and Employer of Record platforms with 100% accuracy.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and empathy to resolve issues.
- Maintain compensation, health benefits, and retirement plan administration across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with international tax, social security, and retirement landscapes in all operating territories.
- Coordinate with in-country service providers and manage payroll vendor relationships.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal to manage wage garnishments, tax notices, and statutory reporting.
- Lead initiatives to automate and scale global payroll operations.
- Maintain accurate payroll documentation, SOPs, and internal audit trails.
