Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Fluency across the stack (frontend, backend, and infrastructure).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and API design (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Active use of AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical trade-offs.
- Track record of ownership and delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data modeling.
- Comfort operating in a fluid squad model.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain systems across the stack, from frontend interfaces and APIs to backend services, databases, and infrastructure.
- Rotate across squads as priorities shift, bringing your expertise to wherever it creates the most leverage, and ramping quickly in unfamiliar domains.
- Evolve and optimize core systems including data models, authentication flows, API layers, and client-side architecture.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues in production.
- Collaborate on architecture and long-term strategy across platform, infrastructure, and product dimensions.
- Implement and refine monitoring, alerting, observability, and auditing across systems.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate implementation, testing, and code quality.
- Balance long-term engineering quality with pragmatic, high-velocity delivery.
