Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building software in collaborative environments.
- Strong proficiency in AI tools for daily coding, review, and debugging; candidates must be fluent in tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent.
- Experience shipping high-quality, reliable software.
- Strong product judgment and ability to think critically about build requirements.
- Proven ability to thrive in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on candid and constructive collaboration.
- Experience with the current tech stack: Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Koa, Objection.js, and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with AWS, Temporal, and Twilio.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and Partner Success to shape strategy and drive products from idea to launch.
- Build and maintain the core platform powering booking experiences, staff tools, and municipal dashboards.
- Write clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
- Elevate the engineering bar through thoughtful code reviews and technical mentorship.
- Utilize AI tools fluently across the development workflow including code generation, debugging, and data analysis.
- Make forward-thinking architectural decisions to ensure platform scalability.
