Requirements
- 3+ years of benefits consulting experience.
- Valid life and health insurance license.
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database applications.
- Practical knowledge of the quoting process and industry tools.
- Expertise in Health Care Reform, insurance markets, and ancillary insurance products.
- Ability to influence and interact effectively with C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, discipline, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies to address complex client issues.
- Collaborate with account management teams on pre-renewal strategy, RFP distribution, and open enrollment planning.
- Maintain accountability for revenue, profitability, and project budgets for assigned client accounts.
- Oversee the on-boarding process for new clients, establishing implementation plans and timelines.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers to facilitate benefits procurement.
- Ensure accuracy of client data within the CRM system.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on compliance regulations including HIPAA, ERISA, SEC 125, and PPACA.
