Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Experience building software tools focused on lifecycle and management.
- Proficiency in Go programming language.
- Strong understanding of system design, library and software APIs, and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure).
- Experience contributing to Open Source projects (CNCF, ASF, or OpenSSF participation is a plus).
- Familiarity with core Kubernetes concepts including controllers, operators, and CRDs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to convey technical concepts.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal engineers and the open source community on feature and bug fix requests.
- Engage with industry partners and standards bodies to drive open source projects forward.
- Deliver mission-focused end-user experiences and produce case studies, blogs, or presentations.
- Integrate software products with existing defense systems while ensuring security and interoperability.
- Own architectural decisions and ensure technical quality across the engineering team.
- Develop comprehensive design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance guides.
- Provide technical mentorship and elevate engineering standards.
