Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Animation, Digital Media, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience producing animated graphics, visual design, or multimedia products.
  • Proficiency in developing visual concepts for complex information.
  • Ability to design diverse visual elements including characters, environments, icons, and infographics.
  • Experience in motion graphics production.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements for digital content.
  • Ability to apply visual design principles that are inclusive and culturally sensitive.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with SMEs, scriptwriters, and project managers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and produce original animated graphics, illustrations, visual effects, and multimedia assets for educational videos and digital communications.
  • Develop visual concepts that effectively communicate complex behavioral health and clinical information in a clear, engaging, and accessible manner.
  • Create animations that accurately represent evidence-based information regarding trauma, PTSD, effective treatments, recovery, and co-occurring conditions.
  • Design characters, environments, icons, infographics, motion graphics, and other visual elements that support educational storytelling.
  • Produce images, animations, and visual effects for use across multiple digital platforms, including websites, social media, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), scriptwriters, project managers, and Government stakeholders to ensure visual content accuracy.
  • Interpret storyboards, scripts, and creative direction to develop compelling visual narratives.
  • Revise artwork and animations based on Government review, stakeholder feedback, and quality assurance processes.
  • Ensure all visual products comply with branding, accessibility, and Section 508 requirements.
  • Maintain organized project files, graphic assets, templates, and documentation for production efficiency.
