508 Compliance Specialist

Review digital products, educational videos, documents, websites, and multimedia content to ensure compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and applicable Federal accessibility standards.
Evaluate educational materials for accessibility throughout the content development lifecycle, including planning, design, production, testing, and final delivery.
Verify that multimedia products include appropriate accessibility features, such as synchronized captions, transcripts, audio descriptions, and keyboard accessibility.
Collaborate with project managers, producers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve accessibility issues.
Conduct accessibility testing using manual review techniques and industry-standard evaluation tools.
Document accessibility findings, recommend corrective actions, and verify remediation prior to final Government acceptance.
Provide guidance and technical assistance to project teams regarding Section 508 requirements and best practices.
Maintain documentation of accessibility reviews, testing results, and compliance status.
