Requirements
- 10+ years leading technically complex IT projects and programs.
- 5+ years in a dedicated Project Manager role with a consistent track record of on-time delivery.
- Proven ability to drive projects through the full lifecycle using standard PMO artifacts (Project Charter, RAID, RACI, status reporting).
- Experience managing in hybrid environments combining Agile execution with milestone-based planning and schedule governance.
- Technical fluency to coordinate across software development, data engineering, system integration, QA, and architecture functions.
- Strong instincts for proactive risk, issue, and cross-functional dependency management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across client, leadership, and technical audiences.
- Hands-on experience with Smartsheet and Jira.
- US Healthcare payer industry experience is preferred.
- Formal project management certification (PMP or PRINCE2) is preferred.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple large-scale projects or multiple smaller projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality are consistently achieved.
- Coordinate closely with Client Delivery Managers to understand client requirements and translate them into delivery objectives, milestones, dependencies, and sequencing.
- Apply industry standard project management practices across Schedule Management, Risk Management, Communications Management, and Stakeholder Engagement.
- Partner with cross-functional technical teams and client teams to translate delivery needs into business-facing decisions, status updates, and mitigation plans.
- Own integrated project schedule management, including work plan development, milestone tracking, dependency management, and variance reporting.
- Maintain disciplined risk and issue management practices, including RAID log ownership and proactive risk identification.
- Conduct detailed resource planning and capacity management to support realistic delivery commitments.
- Facilitate regular status meetings to maintain project health visibility and ensure timely escalation of risks and issues.
