Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related field (MBA or MHA preferred).
- 12+ years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management.
- 6+ years leadership experience building and leading high-performance teams.
- 4+ years of P&L responsibility.
- Extensive expertise in payer contracting and reimbursement methodologies.
- Extensive expertise in healthcare finance.
- Proven success in scaling revenue cycle operations for a growing healthcare organization.
- Passion for utilizing AI and automation to optimize systems.
- Deep understanding of compliance (CMS, HIPAA, Stark Law, etc.).
- Strong planning and cross-functional partnership skills.
- Up to 25% travel required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide revenue cycle strategy.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Establish and oversee processes for coding, claims submission, reimbursement, and accounts receivable.
- Oversee intake services including benefit verification, financial counseling, and prior authorization.
- Maintain strong payer relationships and ensure optimal reimbursement rates.
- Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, including CMS and HIPAA.
- Leverage AI, ML, and automation to improve performance and reduce denials.
- Monitor financial KPIs and provide insights to executive leadership.
