Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in provider-data management, payer/network operations, credentialing, or growth operations.
  • Direct experience navigating and updating payer portals, provider-finder tools, or network rosters (e.g., Availity, CAQH, HealthSmart).
  • Strong knowledge of Type 1/Type 2 NPIs, NPPES, CAQH ProView, taxonomy codes, and credentialing terminology.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation, reconciliation).
  • Experience diagnosing complex data discrepancies across multiple systems and documenting root causes.
  • Comfort with UTM conventions, redirect QA, and product analytics tools like PostHog.
  • Familiarity with lightweight SQL, JSON, XML, or no-code automation to reduce repetitive tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for payer escalation and stakeholder reporting.
  • Excellent quality-control instincts with the ability to manage large datasets with high precision.
  • Sound judgment regarding healthcare privacy, compliance, and minimum-necessary data practices.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain an authoritative provider-data source of truth including NPIs, affiliations, licenses, and service locations.
  • Reconcile internal data against NPPES, CAQH, and payer-specific portals to resolve discrepancies.
  • Audit provider directories for search visibility, accuracy, and broken patient-facing links.
  • Submit and track corrections through payer-specific workflows, portals, or ticketing systems until verified live.
  • Instrument and monitor the directory funnel in PostHog or similar analytics to measure conversion and revenue impact.
  • Partner with Growth and Engineering teams to optimize landing pages and patient-onboarding flows.
  • Create and govern UTM-tagged links and maintain documentation for directory attribution.
  • Develop reporting on directory completeness, correction-cycle times, and attributable patient visits.
