Requirements
- 3-5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience developing production applications using PHP.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL, query optimization, indexing, and database performance.
- Experience building modern frontend applications using React.
- Experience troubleshooting complex production issues across full-stack applications.
- Experience leading developers or technical support teams.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and scalable application design.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience performing code reviews and mentoring developers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Development Support team responsible for production issues, bug fixes, investigations, and platform stability.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex production issues.
- Write high-quality production code in PHP and React while maintaining best engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues across PHP applications, MySQL databases, APIs, and frontend applications.
- Identify recurring support issues and drive permanent engineering solutions.
- Conduct code reviews with a focus on maintainability, performance, security, and consistency.
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers through technical guidance and coaching.
- Help establish engineering standards, coding guidelines, and development best practices.
- Own production deployments and assist with release management.
