Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or SRE.
- Production experience operating in at least one major cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- GitOps fluency with production experience (ArgoCD, Flux, or equivalent).
- Experience building or operating internal developer platform components.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform plus a configuration system.
- Software engineering experience in a major high-level language (Python, Go, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple teams.
- Deep Kubernetes fluency, operating multi-cluster environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline design at scale (GitLab CI).
- Familiarity with distributed tracing and observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Tempo).
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of a scoped set of developer platform capabilities end-to-end.
- Build and evolve golden paths and service templates that facilitate easy service deployment and scaling.
- Drive improvements to GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and Atlantis.
- Harden CI/CD pipelines on GitLab CI to improve performance and safety.
- Contribute to observability frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
- Participate in platform on-call rotations and improve incident response practices.
- Embed security-by-default patterns into platform templates for secrets and IAM.
