Requirements
- 5+ years of total engineering experience.
- 3+ years of specific focus on infrastructure and platform engineering.
- Deep expertise in AWS services including ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, SQS, and Lambda.
- Proven proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Strong background in CI/CD implementation and management using GitHub Actions.
- Proven experience with security hardening and access control.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as CloudWatch or Datadog.
- Experience managing production account architecture.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the AWS account split for production, staging, and development environments.
- Lead the Aurora DB production migration with support from infrastructure advisors.
- Manage and evolve ECS Fargate services, RDS, ElastiCache, SQS, and ALB configurations.
- Maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Harden IAM permissions and enforce least-privilege access across AWS accounts.
- Manage SOC 2 Type 2 readiness and coordinate external penetration testing.
- Improve GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for better build times and deployment velocity.
- Build out PR stack environments to enable independent product team testing.
- Develop CloudWatch dashboards and lead post-incident reviews with documented runbooks.
