- Experience using observability tools to drive performance improvements and forecast growth.
- Experience improving system architecture, diagnosing shortcomings, and implementing recommendations.
- Deep passion for software craftsmanship and infrastructure reliability.
- Ability to diagnose and implement evidence-based recommendations for architecture improvement.
Responsibilities
- Apply a software engineer’s mindset to unique scaling, workflow automation, and resilience challenges.
- Build and maintain developer tools to increase observability and reliability across the technology ecosystem.
- Engineer resilient, observable networking infrastructure supporting diverse workloads across multiple regions.
- Collaborate with departments to facilitate autonomous production systems and deployments.
- Provide expertise in deployment, configuration, routing, monitoring, and scalability.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while upholding technical standards.
- Mentor and lead team members to act as a force multiplier.
- Participate in an on-call schedule for system support.
