Minimum of 5 years post-residency clinical experience

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
  • Board certified in family medicine, med-peds, or a related speciality.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-residency clinical experience caring for prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric patients in a generalist setting.
  • Experience applying a clinical lens to population health leadership.
  • Active medical license in good standing in state of residence.
  • Willingness to become licensed in additional states as needed.
  • Residency in a physician compact-eligible state.
  • Experience leading clinicians in a performance-driven environment, including use of quality, productivity, and operational metrics.
  • Experience in digital health or virtual care delivery models is preferred.
  • Comfort integrating clinical AI tools into workflows is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical, behavioral, and social factors driving outcomes and cost in complex populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and program oversight of maternity, newborn, NICU, and pediatric clinicians.
  • Serve as the clinical escalation point and SME for clinical resolution.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of clinical standards, evidence-based care pathways, and educational materials.
  • Directly supervise and/or provide clinical oversight to APPs.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to develop clinical requirements and inform clinical tooling and product features.
  • Use clinical data and population-level trends to identify care gaps and inform program improvement priorities.
  • Manage clinician performance, including productivity, documentation, clinical quality, and safety standards.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and team development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate care for members with multi-specialty needs.
