Job Details

8-10+ years of experience in impact communications, funder engagement, or public relations.
Experience in the political or renewable energy field is preferred.
Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences including funders, developers, and elected officials.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize inputs from multiple teams into cohesive narratives.
Attention to detail with the ability to distill high volumes of information into clear, strategic communications.
Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Competency in utilizing CRMs such as Salesforce.
Experience with web platforms like WordPress.
Familiarity with design tools such as Canva.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team.
Must be available for regular travel within the United States for conferences, events, and staff retreats.

Follow key industry news to identify trends and draft LinkedIn posts and op-eds for the CEO.
Track internal impact updates to develop a proactive communication plan for organizational wins.
Identify and pitch speaking opportunities for the CEO and leadership.
Prepare monthly impact updates for the Board of Directors.
Develop creative visual content to demonstrate impact across social, email, SMS, and funder channels.
Manage production and implementation of development communications, including newsletters and quarterly funder webinars.
Collaborate with the Research and Experimentation team to communicate findings to key audiences.
Support the development of press pitches and maintain media lists.
Create white papers on impact and key learnings for rapid distribution.
