Requirements
- 15+ years in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Technical Consulting.
- Experience building or leading SE functions at high-growth enterprise SaaS companies.
- Proprietary external network of C-suite and VP Engineering relationships across enterprise HR Tech.
- Proven ability to advise executive leadership (CEO, CRO, CPO) on platform strategy, GTM motion, and SE function design.
- Deep expertise across HRIS, LMS, SSO, API integration ecosystems, and enterprise compliance frameworks.
- Track record of owning and closing complex enterprise deals (Fortune 100, government, multi-region).
- Experience building or significantly maturing an SE function.
- Demonstrated thought leadership through speaking, writing, or recognized influence.
Responsibilities
- Serve as single-threaded owner for BetterUp's most complex, platform-defining engagements.
- Operate as a trusted advisor to the ELT on platform strategy, integration roadmap, and the long-term design of the SE function.
- Bring a proprietary external network of CIO, CISO, and CFO-level relationships to accelerate enterprise pipeline.
- Define BetterUp's integration and security narrative at the industry level.
- Advise the ELT on enterprise buyer trends, shifts in IT buying behavior, and GTM motion evolution.
- Serve as single-threaded owner for key company-wide initiatives like scaled SE coverage models and AI-driven tooling.
- Establish BetterUp as a thought leader through external speaking, writing, and industry presence.
- Mentor leaders across the SE function and GTM organization.
