Requirements

  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end sales cycles and closing deals within technology organizations.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and demonstrate complex software.
  • Experience with academic purchasing processes, procurement cycles, and stakeholder structures in higher education.
  • Experience designing and executing territory or account plans to influence senior decision-makers.
  • Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, or ZoomInfo.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions into HR, Learning & Development, or academic technologies.
  • History of driving cross-departmental expansion or upselling existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan to prospect, manage, and close new mid-market educational logos.
  • Deliver outcome-oriented product demonstrations tailored to unique instructional and technological challenges.
  • Partner with Account Management and Customer Success teams to uncover upsell and cross-departmental expansion opportunities.
  • Navigate complex evaluation cycles within higher education and community colleges to secure multi-year agreements.
  • Establish a predictable, repeatable, and customer-centric sales engine in the Americas mid-market education segment.
